But it must be done.
Water is so essential to our weight loss success and drinking enough will have all the benefits you need to be healthy.
Did you know that you could DROWN from drinking too much water? Yep, it's true and I even (of course) wrote about it once.
So how much water is healthy?
(Go read my article, sillies. I explain it all right THERE!)
But if you haven't the time...
It's been said that you should drink at least 8-10 glasses of water per day. If you are attempting weight loss, you should up that to half your body weight in ounces, per day. I weigh (today) 286.4, so I shall consume at least 143.2 ounces of water, today.
I do generally drink between 125 and 150 ounces of water per day. Depending upon my exercise and sweating factors, I do spend lots of time flushing it out; a necessary evil if you wish to be healthy.
The above article also shares other tips for why drinking water is so important for your over all health and as I sit here penning this post, I am enjoying a nice tall glass of cold 'n' tasty water. YUM!
As with any cravings, remember not to OVER indulge; but do remember to get your ounces of water (tea can also count toward your water ounces intake) in each day. Your body and your mind, as well as your spirit, will thank you!
Till next time!
